Cylinders 3, 4, and 6 missfiring

19 Jan 2020 •
I have a 2002 Toyota Camry V6 with cylinders 3, 4, and 6 misfiring. My brother replaced both knock sensors 300 miles or so ago. The vehicle shakes when stopped and there is a new sound coming from the engine. We are wondering if anyone has any insights into the problem and/or knows which knock sensor goes to which cylinders. We could not find any information concerning this online. Thanks in advance.

Car not starting

15 Nov 2019 •
I have a 1998 Toyota Camry. It's got 176,000 miles. Last week in the morning the car started fine. Drove it 10 miles to work. When I got off I went to start the car and it didn't start unless I sprayed starting fluid. It would start for 2-3 sec and turn off. I contacted 3-4 mechanics and auto part stores like autozone and all of them told me my fuel pump is had. So I ended up getting the car towed and today I brought a new bosh fuel pump and strainer. I connected the new fuel pump to the electric cable to see if it works. Not surprising the new fuelpump worked.

My headlights are not working

15 Nov 2019 •
Okay, so I have a Toyota Corolla 2012 model and my right headlight stopped working. I went to the shop, bought a new light and replaced it and everything worked fine. Later, my left headlight stopped working, so I bought a new one and it was fixed. Now after 2 months, my right headlight has stopped working again. So I am not sure, am I just buying low quality parts? or can this be a circuit problem from the inside? Don't want to keep on buying new lights and not get the real problem fixed.

Original or Fake Tyres

15 Nov 2019 •
OKay, so I live in a region where counterfeits are common. I want to buy some new tyres for my car but my friends keep telling me to beware of counterfeits tyres, these are made locally in a small workshop where fake brands, packaging etc is used to sell the tyres at a higher price, since they imitate an international brand. My question is.. is there a way to figure out the difference between e.g. an original Michelin and a fake one?

Quick Question, Need to buy new Tyres

15 Nov 2019 •
Hey Guys Just a quick question. I have an old Toyota Corolla from 1998 and I wanted to change the tyres. Which ones would you recommend for a car that is more than 20 years old? Some say, the older the car, the more expensive/better tyre we need. Is that true?
